David Edward DeCarlo passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his residence in Willingboro.

He is predeceased by his dad, Garth Peterson of Deltona, FL, and a mother-in-law, Gisela Magdalene McCullough of Willingboro, NJ.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia DeCarlo; his loving mother, Maryann Peterson of Delton, FL; a daughter, Valerie and her husband Mike Reger; 1 grandson, Greyson Reger and a little brother on the way. An older sister Jean Christianson and her husband Steve of Mt. Holly, NJ. An older brother John Michael DeCarlo Jr. and his wife Michelle DeCarlo, with two girls, AnnaMarie and KalieLynn; and a nephew in Ohio, John Michael DeCarlo III; a younger brother Theodore Bruce DeCarlo from the same home and his son Theodore Bruce DeCarlo Jr. from Florence, NJ. David is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

David was loved by many, and touched many lives. He worked hard for a very long time, before having severe medical problems, and having to give up what he loved to do so much, along with taking care of and being with his family.  We are all in shock at his sudden departure.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate help with expenses as this was very unexpected.

It's hard to believe that you have been gone for five years. It seems like yesterday that we would sit out on the deck and share what had been happening in your life.

Your passing left a void in so many lives. God gained another carpenter and a worker who took pride in giving of talents.

David's talents and heart!

June 20, 2014

David was a talented carpenter who shared his abilities with many friends and familyHe was always there when needed by all family members and loved all family functions. He had an unshakable love for a breed of dog introduced to him by his parents.Over the years the "Boxer"breed became part of his life and home.Very rarely would David and his wife b without their constant companion.I'm sure somewhere in heaven his many companions wait for him!I'm sure his father and grandparents met him at the gates with a deck of cards and warm hugs.
